Learn With Ni

About Me

Hello, I'm Ni. What if learning Chinese could feel intuitive, even surprising? What if you didn’t just speak the language, but began to think in it? That shift is where true fluency begins, and it's where our lessons are designed to take you.

Do you want to know more? Lets see some reasons why I might be the right fit for you.

Multilingual

I speak Chinese, Spanish, English, Italian, and Japanese. Since 2016, I have been teaching Chinese to students from Spain, Italy, Colombia, France, United States, Korea, Japan and many many more. Drawing on my years of global teaching experience, I can clearly explain language concepts, help students bridge cultural differences, and enable them to learn Chinese more naturally.

World map with marks of each student's country

I am a multilingual learner myself. I hold a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature in China, and I have completed two master's degrees: one in Contemporary Art Markets from Milan, Italy, and another in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Valencia, Spain. Through learning English and Spanish, I gained rich language learning experience, which has become a unique advantage in teaching Chinese.

In my classes, I like to illustrate Chinese through comparisons with other languages, allowing students to understand it more intuitively. For example, in Spanish, one says Tengo 25 años; in Italian, Ho 25 anni; in English, I'm 25 years old; and in Chinese, 我25岁了. In Spanish and Italian, age is like an object that accompanies "me," while in English and Chinese, age is a number that defines "me." Moreover, Chinese does not require the verb "to be"; the particle "了" naturally expresses the dynamic change of age, reflecting the unique logic and perception of time in Chinese.

I firmly believe that my multilingual background and cross-cultural teaching experience help students gain a deeper understanding of Chinese while enhancing their language sensitivity and cultural awareness.

Start From Day One

If you're a complete beginner, congratulations—you've taken the first step toward an exciting journey into the world of Chinese! From the very first lesson, you'll be speaking Chinese. My teaching approach is all about practical communication: no fear, no hesitation—you'll actively use the language from day one.

As an experienced Chinese teacher with a strong foundation in Chinese language and literature, I guide you carefully every step of the way. We start with simple greetings and quickly move to systematic training in pronunciation, tones, and Pinyin, so you can confidently introduce yourself and handle everyday conversations naturally. My classes are designed to make speaking Chinese feel effortless, helping you build confidence while enjoying every moment of learning.

I'll also reveal the unique charm of Chinese pronunciation, showing you which sounds are similar to English, Spanish, or Italian, and giving clear, practical tips for accurate articulation. From single syllables to words, phrases, full sentences, and even tongue twisters, you'll develop listening and speaking skills in a structured, engaging, and effective way. Through imitation, correction, and repetition, your Chinese will soon sound fluid, expressive, and natural—almost like a native speaker.

Learning Chinese with me is more than memorizing words—it's about opening a new world, boosting your confidence, and discovering a fresh perspective on language and culture. As the Chinese proverb goes, "A good beginning is half the battle." With my guidance, you'll confidently speak Chinese from day one, and the path to fluency will already be within reach.

Structured Learning

Why Do You Need Structured Learning?

Many Chinese learners run into the same obstacles:

  • Taking endless "theme-based lessons" ("ordering food," "asking for directions") where vocabulary and grammar stay isolated
  • Memorizing hundreds of words but still unable to form natural sentences
  • Understanding slow conversations but feeling lost at real-life speed
  • Having no learning map—unsure where they are or what comes next

The problem isn't effort.
It's the absence of a system.

What Is My "Structured Chinese Learning"?

"Structured" is more than going from easy to hard.
It means building a scientific, connected, and trackable learning system shaped around real language skills.

I build this system through three pillars:

The Three Pillars of Structured Learning
1
StructuredKnowledge
2
StructuredRoadmap
3
StructuredFeedback

1. Structured Knowledge — From Fragments to a Complete System

I don't teach random scenarios.
I design everything based on the core components of language ability:

  • Sound System
Initials → finals → tones → tone changes → natural intonation
  • Vocabulary
High-frequency core words → semantic networks → collocations & fixed expressions
  • Grammar
Sentence structure → aspect & patterns → pragmatic functions
(e.g., how to soften a request, how to compare, how to emphasize)
  • Skills Training
Sound recognition → retelling → dialogues → reading → writing

Every lesson connects seamlessly to the next.
Knowledge builds layer by layer—no more "learn today, forget tomorrow."

2. Structured Roadmap — A Clear Path for Your Goals

When you join, you'll complete an initial assessment.
You'll receive:

  • Your current level, aligned with HSK 1–6 or CEFR A1–C2
  • A personalized learning roadmap
    (e.g., Going from HSK2 → HSK3 requires 30 grammar points + 500 new words)
  • Weekly micro-goals + milestone tasks
(e.g., "Use 把 (bǎ) constructions to describe daily actions")

You'll always know:
Where you are → Where you're going → How to get there.

3. Structured Feedback — Progress You Can Actually See

I don't just teach.
I make your progress visible:

  • Post-lesson mastery reports
    (vocabulary, grammar accuracy, pronunciation clarity)
  • Archived learning logs for before/after comparison
(e.g., your reading recording from 3 months ago vs. today)

Learning isn't based on "intuition" anymore—
It's supported by data, evidence, and real improvement.

Who Is This For?

  • Complete beginners seeking the right start
  • Intermediate learners who feel stuck and want to rebuild their foundation
  • HSK or goal-driven learners (work, study, relocation)
  • Serious learners tired of random videos and apps, wanting a structured, professional approach

My Promise

Here, Chinese is not a pile of scattered "knowledge points."
It's a building you construct brick by brick, with guidance, clarity, and a system.

I provide the structure.
You bring the dedication.
Your results will grow naturally.

"Language is not memorized — it grows through structure."

Dynamic Content

Dynamic Learning Content: Chinese That Fits Your Life

Many learners hit a wall not during class—but afterward.
You understand the lesson… but then struggle to find practice materials that are just right: not too easy, not too hard, and actually relevant to your life.

That's where dynamic, personalized content comes in.
Instead of generic homework or overwhelming lists of "Chinese resources," I create a weekly learning package tailored specifically to you—based on your current level, interests, and goals.

What does this look like?

  • Meaningful, real-world assignments
    No rote copying. Instead:
→ Just learned comparison structures? Write a mini review comparing two coffee shops.
→ Practicing giving advice? Record a voice note suggesting a movie to a friend using "你可以试试…"
  • Curated media recommendations
Tell me you love travel, tech, cooking, or K-dramas—and I'll match you with content you'll actually enjoy:
→ Podcast clips at your listening level
→ Short video scenes (with guided subtitles)
→ Graded reading passages or real social media posts
→ Songs with breakdowns of natural expressions
Everything is filtered for comprehensible input—you'll understand about 70% right away, so it's challenging but never discouraging.
  • Flexible formats, your preferred style
Prefer listening over reading? Love visual learning? I provide options—audio, video, text, or interactive tasks—so you can engage in the way that works best for you.

How does it stay "dynamic"?

Your content evolves as you do:

  • Beginner? → Focused on high-frequency phrases, clear audio, and visual support
  • Intermediate? → Real-life dialogues, short documentaries, pop culture snippets
  • Advanced? → Authentic materials like news analysis, literature excerpts, or debate podcasts

Change your goal from "travel survival" to "job interview prep"? Fall in love with Chinese sci-fi? Just let me know—your content updates instantly.

Why is this better than searching on your own?

  • Saves time – No more scrolling through irrelevant YouTube videos or overwhelming apps
  • Builds connections – Homework and media tie directly to what you're learning in class, creating a powerful "learn → use → remember" cycle
  • Keeps you motivated – Because it's aligned with your interests, practice stops feeling like a chore and starts feeling like discovery
